Student Engagement and Events Committee
CNYCDA is proud to host dynamic events that engage students, alumni, employers, and career professionals from across Central New York. From our origins with Teacher Recruitment Days to our expanded suite of career-focused programs, our events have continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of our students and alumni. Each initiative is guided by our mission to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of career and experiential learning.
Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee spearheads initiatives that promote growth, collaboration, and networking among career professionals across member institutions. Through events such as industry leader panels, roundtable discussions, and employer discovery tours, members gain valuable insights into best practices, build industry connections, and explore innovative strategies to enhance students' career readiness. Additionally, shared resources and professional development grants offer ongoing support, empowering members to refine their skills and introduce new ideas to their campuses.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee
The newly formed DEIB Committee is dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment in CNYCDA. Our goals include identifying the specific needs of members related to DEIB, securing resources and training opportunities to enhance DEIB skills, and establishing clear procedures for incorporating DEIB in events, meetings, and policies. By prioritizing DEIB, we aim to create a welcoming and supportive community for all members. We invite all CNYCDA members who are passionate about creating a more equitable and inclusive organization to reach out to the DEIB Co-Chairs about involvement.
